We try to minimize the amount of plastic we use in the van, but these jars are great repurposed for food storage and for leftovers. The lids seal up nicely. They’re clear so you can see what’s inside. Even overnight oatmeal or other cold-soaking food recipes work really well using Talenti jars. We’ve also seen them used by crafty types for buttons and beads, or for nuts and bolts, or for anything small that just needs a little organizing.
The only downside we know of is that the plastic is fairly soft and will deform if inadvertently left too close to a heat source. Of course, if we need to replace one it’s a good excuse to splurge on a cold tasty treat the next time we resupply.
