Building our Tiny Home on Wheels
After seeing so many other hikers and travelers with vans, and after perusing the countless Youtube videos on the subject, we decided to take the leap. But we knew right off that we wanted to build out our own van from scratch to fit our particular needs and aesthetic. - Installing the MaxxAir Exhaust FanAfter installing some basic wiring, batteries and a charge controller, we installed the MaxxAir Exhaust fan in late 2018.
- Building a Beadboard CeilingAfter installing the floor, the exhaust fan, a deep-cycle battery, and a temporary bed platform, we decided to finish the ceiling. The curved roof of the Ford Transit would again make this a difficult project.
